From how I read it, the original poster did not have a network failure, but
rather is being afflicted by deliberate packet filtering. That is *not* a SPOF effect. Sure, multiple diverse nameservers are preferable, but even that will never prevent blanket blocking from causing filures at some remote site. -- -- Todd Vierling <tv () duh org> <tv () pobox com>
