whatever those are. there are at least 146 DNS varients out there, the number may be higher. about 50ish or so are BIND versions.
Hmmm... again, absent TLD collisions, I don't see that writing a recursive-only server that can coalesce the TLD namespace from multiple roots ought to be *that* hard... but then I'm not Cricket, neither.
in theory - its easy. six months... might work debugged working code - a bit longer me thinks. --bill
