But I do think its clear that with IPv6 a solution needs to be found for the average joe-business-user who wants to have benefits of connectivity with several providers without necessity of doing BGP. IETF Multi6 seems to be the best effort we have in this area and its quite clear now from both that and from HIP and MIP that new "host" layer will have to be added to TCP/IP between IP and TCP and then connection will not be between one ip and another but between one host and another and simplified routing protocol will decide which of the ips (and each host may have multiple ones) are actually used for source and destination of data packets. -- William Leibzon Elan Networks william () elan net
