BT suspends service guarantees

Not North America, but it may affect some North American network operators.

Due to the fuel shortages in the UK, British Telecom (BT) has suspended
appointments and service guarantees.  Customers affected will not be
compensated.  Emergency repairs will still be made for hospitals, doctors
and other emergency services.
