Re: MAE-East weirdness on May 13, 1999

Did anyone else experience some weirdness at MAE-East this morning at about 9:30-10:00am Eastern? All of our circuits were up, but BGP had an unusually difficult problem maintaining sessions. The same thing happened again around 1:00-2:00pm Eastern this afternoon.
Lots of "me too's" but no one knows why. So does anyone know why? Alien packets on the Gigaswitchs? Denial of Service attack? Y2K? -- Sean Donelan, Data Research Associates, Inc, St. Louis, MO Affiliation given for identification not representation
