whois my.name.server note the nic handle for your name server whois "server nic-handleformyserver" This will return a list of all the domains for a server.
that's neat, but it's not terribly useful with more than a handful of zones. internic now terminates all whois queries at 50 records. otoh, the telnet interface will show you five and then offer you all the others. so... telnet whois.internic.net whois my.name.server server nic-handleformyserver -- |-----< "CODE WARRIOR" >-----| codewarrior () daemon org * "ah! i see you have the internet twofsonet () graffiti com (Andrew Brown) that goes *ping*!" andrew () crossbar com * "information is power -- share the wealth."
