Unless your ISP uses BBN Butterflies and C30 IMPs in its backbone, I would discount the odds of running into a link with an MTU of 576.
Um, C30s were never IMPs (Internet Message Processors), they were always PSNs (Packet Switching Nodes). First project I ever worked on.
How do I program my router to emulate one of those?
Drop it out a 3rd story window? BBN Butterflys were one of the worst pieces of hardware ever built. regards, fletcher
