Checked, and reverse_tcp_dns works ok. Had a few problems wirh reverse_http, could not interact with meterpreter session. I saw a bug entry and it seems to be a problem with firewall/av. I don't have both. Justme 2011/10/3 Rob Fuller <mubix () room362 com>
reverse_tcp_dns, reverse_http, and reverse_https are the only payloads that use FQDN/DNS addresses. Most other payloads just look up the host at time of generation and put the IP into the payload. -- Rob Fuller | Mubix Certified Checkbox Unchecker Room362.com | Hak5.org On Mon, Oct 3, 2011 at 5:37 PM, Vitor Moreira <vjsmoreira () gmail com>wrote:When using msfpayload to generate a exe for windows (for example, meterpreter/reverse_tcp) and I specify LHOST=xxx.dyndnd.org, it will be translated to the current dynamic address.
