msfgui doesn't start

Please help.
I've installed stable-snapshot.tar.gz of ruby and framework-3.2. when
i open my terminal window, and type ./msfgui the splash screen appears
and after a few seconds disappear. no error messages or any text
displayed.
kalgecin[framework-3.2]$ ./msfgui
kalgecin[framework-3.2]$
