Karmetasploit invalid option -C

followed instruction here:

injection works on my cards,

but get message:

invalid option -C

and get message:

invalid option -P

when attempting to setup as per example

airbase-ng -P -C 30 -e "Free WiFi" -v ath2


have version Airbase-ng 1.0 rc1 r1083

which when I ask for help does not show the switches -C or -P, yet the 
version I have (Airbase-ng 1.0 rc1 r1083), is the same version used in 
the example.
