What is the best way to exit the remote shell? Am I crashing the lsass service? Any ideas or suggestions would be 
appreciated.


Try setting EXITFUNC as "thread". There are currently three ways that
a shellcode can exit execution, so playing around with them may allow
you to exploit the service multiple times.
