The investment is being called the “largest ever … in cybersecurity” in the country, and will be known as the CESAR package.
CESAR stands for cyber enhanced situational awareness and response.“My government’s record investment in our nation’s cybersecurity will help ensure we have the tools and capabilities we need to fight back and keep Australians safe,” Prime Minister Scott Morrison said in a statement.
