Former cop, wife plead guilty to hacking

Kurt Oehlstrom Sr., and Stephanie Oehlstrom, both 32, entered guilty pleas to attempted unauthorized use of property, which carries a maximum sentence of six months in jail. They originally had faced felony charges when they were indicted in September 2008. Under the terms of the plea bargain, Kurt Oehlstrom Sr. must resign from the Amherst Police Department, where he has been on unpaid administrative leave, and he must never again work in law enforcement in Lorain County.
