Government Symposium on Information Sharing and Homeland Security

On June 30-July 2, 2003 The Government Symposium on Information
Sharing and Homeland Security will take place at the Philadelphia
Marriott in Philadelphia, PA. The Government Emerging Technology
Alliance (GETA) and the Government Expert Planning Committee are proud
sponsors of this important event. The event is in its 2nd year and the
Homeland Security theme will once again guide the content and
sessions.

The 2002 event brought together over 1,000 high ranking officials from
all key sectors of government and 8 countries whose mission was to
improve the flow of actionable information between agencies.

This year's event will focus on technology solutions for Information
Sharing through highly interactive sessions with First Responders, the
New Department of Homeland Security, members of Congress, and the
International Community. Topics and discussion to include:

* Lean what you can do  to assist State and Local Governments in the War on
  Terrorism.

* Hear directly from first responders and what Information Sharing
  challenges they face.

* Visit with top International Officials and hear "lessons learned."

* View over 150 new technologies that provide solutions for the Information
  Sharing Challenge.
