Defacement mirror Alldas.de is looking for a new home after its ISP
was subject to a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack over the
weekend.

The Syn-flood attack, which lasted 24 hours, against German ISP
Kvalito had a severe effect on the service it was able to provide to
all its customers, making the web sites it hosted unavailable. Exactly
what provoked the attack is unclear, but Kvalito is clearly blaming
Alldas.de.

A posting on Alldas.de said that Kvalito ultimately decided to "pull
the plug on Alldas.de more or less" on Saturday, stripping it of email
and filtering its traffic so that it could only receive http.

The service run by Alldas.de is now only able to run a very basic
service and it seems clear that Kvalito has given its tenant notice to
quit. Alldas.de will have to move home for the second time in just a
year.

To its credit, Alldas.de has made quiet clear what it needs from any
perspective future landlords.

ISPs should be able to handle a growing volume of traffic that has
reached 300GB/month, deal with 10 flames per month about port scanning
- though Alldas.de has offered to answer those on its own - and
tolerate the occasional DDoS attack.

After Attrition.org decided to get out of the defacement archiving
business last month (after decided it was too much hassle to continue
as a hobby), Alldas.de has become the only game in town. Any admins
out there keen to save this worthwhile service can find more
information here.
