Just a little heads up if you have been thinking about sneaking out of the server farm for a couple hours to socialize with others (Outside of idling a screen on IRC) to see "Antitrust", You might end up feeling better spending your $8.50 watching "Thirteen Days" or "Traffic"
From one of Harry Knowles' reviewers with "Ain't It Cool News"...
http://www.aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=7851 "Antitrust is the worst kind of thriller. The lame, predictable, PG-13 kind, completely devoid of any suspense or tension. It also has one of the least frightening villans of recent screen memory. Ryan Phillipe plays the prettiest computer programmer in the world." I can completely agree with that last statement, Phillipe looks more comfortable packing a pump-action 870 and wearing body-armor in "Way of the Gun" than as a newly minted Stanford grad in search of dotcom millions. Knowing all this now, You are probably wondering how and why I came to view this, If you are on RSA Security's mailing list, You probably got a notice from them wondering if you wanted to see a private screening of Antitrust. RSA had sponsored the movie and had a product placement of their RSA SecurID cards throughout the movie. http://www.rsasecurity.com/go/mgm/home.html? Here's where the fun kicks in, When I checked the mail for my ticket to attend this screening, Enclosed was a 'Golden Ticket' not too far from say "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" that could have been easily forged at Kinkos in under ten minutes. It seemed just a little odd to me for a company trying to hype their security product in a movie where the plot deals with security issues, VPN's and the Internet. Me personally if I was working the RSA's promotions for this movie premier, I would have sent everyone a SecureID key fob for better two-factor authentication than say a gold paper card printed in black ink. :) Well too much sake and sushi for me tonight...
