The traditional Internet structure and its peering system are being bypassed in a major way by CDN networks. If you look at the list of the largest backbones in 2007 and now, you will be astonished. Here is the list below. The first table is the list of providers by percentage of traffic in 2007. The second is the same listing in 2009 and the third is the highest percentage growth in traffic by player.
