Except that even if it works, it won't work.  Apparently these people
have learned nothing from the tragic Julie Amero case, which should have
driven home the point that there's a major disconnect between "what someone
does" and "what their computer does".  Given that there are a very large
number of systems infested with malware -- which effectively means
they no longer "belong" to their putative owners in an operational sense --
it won't be long at all until "swatting" migrates online.  If it
hasn't already.
