"This American Life" and Ira Glass are always great.  In this case,  
there is a subtext to consider:  the utter amorality of the people  
with whom they spoke.  Part of the theme is that these lower-level  
people were merely doing their job; they were not the venal execs  
epitomized by Gordon Gekko.  But in many ways, behind their innocently  
sweet, blithely unaware voices is the echo of a concentration camp  
guard.  One week a bartender, next week a mortgage trader...
