A few weeks back I asked for help in tracking down a reference to  
transistor cost for the first all-transistor computer.  Many people on  
IP responded -- thanks again.

Several asked why I was seeking the information, and I replied it was  
for a short essay in a magazine.  That prompted requests for copies.

The magazine (Information Security) issue (October) has appeared.  The  
essay is short, but I hope it provokes some thought.
