The Rudd government had been elected 6 weeks before with the main policy battlegrounds being industrial relations, family issues and to a lesser extent the close relationship of the Howard government to the Bush administration's foreign policies. Minister Conroy would be fully aware of the folly of madatory filtering but was important to get some "family friendly" policy out there and best use the interference given by the holiday season and the new year to cover the silliness. regards bob http://www.australianit.news.com.au/story/0,24897,22989956-15306,00.html Bob Merlin Irymple Victoria Australia (03) 50245484 or 0428-245488 ------------------------------------------- Archives: http://v2.listbox.com/member/archive/247/=now RSS Feed: http://v2.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/247/ Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
