It's day 6 and Quicktime is definitely taking a pounding.  VLC took a
hit, but of course the VLC team instantly released version 0.8.6a as a
fix.

Vulnerabilities are not exploitabilities. This puts it into the "so what" category.

Not only that but these are user mode applications so that shrinks these "issues" further.
