independent source of information.
The PMOI's program is to bring Islam And State Socialism to Iran.

So Yes the current government in Iran is not a model of democracy, and 
they certainly instrumentalise Israel for internal use in a dangerous 
way.
Yes Kohl had "interesting" party funding practice, and is rather on the 
right of the German political system (this would probably make him a 
bleading hearth pinko liberal in the US).
Kohl is of generation that knows perfectly well that the Holocaust did 
happen, and he didn't ever deny it, and got a couple of "decoration" 
from the government of Israel for the effort he did toward Jews in 
general and Israel.
And he would have no gain, the only result would be to make lots of 
enemies and loose whatever credit he has left.

And of course Jomburi Islami is about as "fair and balanced" and 
reliable as Fox News.

So a non news. (but if you believe it I "know" that the Eiffel tower is 
going to be sold as scrap metal, and ... )
