    Similar to the procedure is already in place in New Jersey.  Almost
    a year ago, I received a notice from the NJ DMV explaining the new
    "6-point" NJ system:  valid US passport is worth 2 points, as is a
    birth certificate original and a current NJ photo driver's license.
    Other things (bank statement, etc.) are 1 point each, and you must
    present 6 point's worth of stuff, two of which must be 2-point
    items -- for a total of 4 documents (I'm doing this from memory --
    the notice is in my home in New Jersey, and I'm in Massachusetts).
