This may be well known, but it only recently came to my attention that the
Florida Department of Corrections is providing, via it's website, a
searchable
list of all offenders - both in and out of jail.

The information includes many personal details, such as birthday, drivers
license and current address.  This would make it reasonably easy to steal
their identity for various purposes - and the fact that they are known
criminals would make it difficult to prove their innocence.
