Since the Times has posted that article for all to see, it is not as if anyone was deprived of income; in fact, the Times was saved the expense of the bandwidth and was promoted in the process. Were it my Times column, I'd certainly have no problem with having it published on Dave's list. I beleive that the piece is also on the Times' RSS
feed.By the way, one of the biggest mistakes the Times has made is putting some of its most influential columnists behind a "for pay" firewall. Krugman and Dowd
were once influential; now they're invisible.
