Dave,

Do you think the highly-visible sky marshals will intervene when I start
to throttle the s.o.b. in the next row who spends the whole flight
blatting on his cell phone?  The cell-phones-aren't-safe bit, though
untrue, has maintained a fraction of civility on airplanes.  Do we need 
to
divide seating now not on smoking/no-smoking basis but to separate 
people
who think it's their right to annoy other people from people who don't?
