The city of Philadelphia yesterday announced a deal with Microsoft to design and build a high-tech high school in Philadelphia. Proposed features include tablet PCs and PDAs for all students, electronic test grading, campus-wide wireless connectivity and a complete online library. While Microsoft has partnered with school districts before, this is the first-time the company will help design and build a school from the ground up.
