Did you and other IPer's listen to Morning Edition on NPR this morning?  Some
independent record labels are listed, on RIAA's website, as members of RIAA.
The problem is that they aren't members, and they can't get RIAA to remove
their names from its website until and unless they threaten RIAA with 
Copyright
Infrigement lawsuits.

That warm feeling this gives one towards RIAA is called heartburn!

Independent record labels are fighting to have their names removed from the
list of members posted on the Recording Industry Association of America's Web
site. Many of the indie labels say they are not RIAA members. Some worry that
the association with the music industry's crackdown on file sharers will hurt
their image with fans. Joel Rose of member station WHYY reports.
