The April issue of IEEE Spectrum is now on-line, and the special
report on Intelligence and Technology may be of interest. The three
articles concern data systems at the FBI; signals intelligence; and
data analysis. Also in this issue, Eugene Skolnikoff looks at the
damage being done to science --  particularly space science -- by the
