In 1969 Stan joined the then-startup Intel Corporation, where he developed architecture specifications for the industry's first microprocessors, including the Intel 4004 and 8080, for which he
shares the fundamental design patents. As a recent patent awardee (US Patent 6,377,981), I'm probably a bit more sensitive about people's claims regarding patents, so I checked the USPTO's database and found **NO** patents relating to the aforementioned microprocessors filed by Intel with Mr. Mazor's name on them. He is a named as a co-inventor with Federico Faggin and Masatoshi Shima on US Patent 4,010,449 titled "MOS computer employing a plurality of separate chips" which was filed 12/31/74 and issued 3/1/77. Having missed being designated an "inventor" on a number of patents in my career, I can commiserate with Mr. Mazor if he contributed key intellectual property without being recognized. _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ You can't depend on your judgement when your imagination is out of focus. -- Mark Twain. _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ OLTECO Ari Ollikainen P.O.
