Media Grok, The Industry Standard's acerbic roundup of technology headlines, emerged from the cyber-trash heap for the third time in less than six months under the new banner, Media UnSpun. The company retains the same seven-person staff that created the once-popular newsletter, but editor Jimmy Guterman's media organization, the Vineyard Group, will manage the site. UnSpun is the most recent example of the resurgence of text-based e-mail newsletters and websites competing against international news organizations hit hard by layoffs.
