Date: Tue, 23 Oct 2001 14:32:23 -0400 From: Ballman <Ballman () usna edu> To: Farber () cis upenn edu Tonight at 7 PM, the International Space Station will pass directly over Maryland from the NW to SE and be very visible (if there are no clouds). The ISS is about as bright as the brightest star and has no flashing lights. At 1902 EDT you should begin to see it in the NW, then passing directly overhead and at 1907 EDT it will fade out to the SE as it passes into the Earth's shadow. Wave to USNA-71 alumnus Frank Culbertson as he flies by. Bob Bruninga USNA Satellite Station
