I'm the Vice-President of the Open Source Initiative. We certify code as OSI Certified Open Source if it uses one of our approved licenses at http://opensource.org/licenses/. If we don't know what the Open Source Definition means, nobody does. We've never said that the GPL violates the non-discrimination clause, so frankly, Brett is out in left field on this one. If he wants to appeal it to the board, he can certainly do so. He has never tried. -russ
