Verizon DSL Suit Appealed

Arguing that a Virginia ban on class action lawsuits should not
prevent them from having their day in court, a group of disgruntled
Verizon DSL customers is appealing a case filed against the phone
giant nearly a year ago.

On Friday, lawyers for the customers filed an appeal with the U.S.
Court of Appeals in Washington to reinstate a case dismissed by a
lower court in July on the grounds that the nation's capital was an
inappropriate forum.
