From: "John Lyon" <jelyon () jelyon com> To: <farber () cis upenn edu> Ran across this in John Dvorak's "Inside Track" in the latest PC Magazine; thought it might be of interest to some IPers: Almost Banned Book Dept: One of the most mysterious software companies is the German firm SAP, with it's enterprises management and bookkeeping system used by many large American corporations, including Microsoft. Much of the corporate culture actually stems from corporate use of SAP. This is a little frightening. The best-selling German book "SAP: Inside the Secret Software Power" is now for sale the U.S. By McGraw-Hill. Written by Gerd Meissner, this book outlines the story behind SAP. The litigious company tried its best to keep this book off the market, and that's reason enough to buy a copy. There are stories in here that will make you hair stand on end. Highly recommended! ____________________________________ John Lyon, Proprietor and Impresario http://jelyon.com/rules John's rules for IT professionals
