AT&T lost approximately 400 T3s, which caused every single Lucent router nationwide to try to relearn their routes and effectively pegged all routers at 100%. Because of this, a second outage occurred due to the fact that the routers were too busy relearning their routes to actually pass traffic. This was a nationwide outage for both Lucent and AT&T. As of 01.45pm, Lucent locations in Allentown, PA have isolated all traffic from the backbone, so at least we're back up and running. Sean
