From ogrady.com, a Mac portable website.

George Chon writes about a new CompUSA radio commercial airing in the Los
Angeles area:

I'm a loyal Mac user out here in Los Angeles. I just heard
(11:25am) a CompUSA Radio Ad for the Apple Store-Within-A-Store
and the Mac G3s on KFI 640 am. The format followed CompUSA's
usual format: the two guys doing their schtick with a voice-over
detailing what the store has to offer: all of the Mac line-up
plus software and hardware and upgrades.

Most significant about the ad was the final portion which tried
to reassure the public that there is a significant user base.
The commercial concludes by saying that there are millions of
              Mac users out there.

Most significant about the ad placement was that it was aired at
the half-hour break during the Rush Limbaugh Show. Regardless of
your political views the reality is that Rush's show is among
the most listened-to shows in the Los Angeles area and that Rush
is a loyal Mac user who has regularly touted the benefits of the
              Mac platform on his show.

I'm glad Apple and CompUSA are taking a more aggressive
advertising stance for the Store-Within-A-Store. I must admit
that I was disappointed and underwhelmed with the Woodland
Hills, CA store when it first opened. After hearing this ad, I
just may give it another try.
