My overall sense is that this is still an experiment and the pricing is high enough to discourage all but the most interested. Issues such as encryption from the subscriber to the head end is not well defined though the Morning Star software in the home router (looks like a PC without a keyboard or monitor) is capable of it. You share a 2mbps channel with others so that you don't necessarily get the full 500kbps all the time. Hope none of your friends like to play with video over IP.
