MPT is installing ministry-wide wireless LAN now and they are going to connect to the Internet very soon. They say that this will allow us to retrive the latest release from Clinton administration via the Internet as well as send out their own releases to outside Japan. NTT is also getting more serious to prepare high-speed computer networking. Still many senior executives in mainstream organizations are having difficulty in understanding what Internet really means, that is no[t] THE ALL japanese, I should say.
