From: Ted Laliotis <laliotis () hplabsz hpl hp com> COMPCON '94 (Feb. 28 - Mar 4 in San Francisco) will feature extensive sessions and tutorials on: Information Superhighways, Cruising the Internet, Legal Issues Mobile Computing, Silicon Valley meets Holywood, Risc Systems, Microprocessors, Fiber Channel, Scalable Interconnects, New Software (Taligent, Spring, COOL), and other interesting topics. COMPCON is the only general purpose technical conference (no exhibits) catering to computer professionals without commercials since it is organized completely by IEEE Computer Society volunteers. It is also a bargain. $300 for three full days of state of the art stuff or a choioce of eight one-day Tutorials.
