FNC meeting

The next meeting of the Federal Networking Council Advisory
Committee (FNCAC) will be held on Thursday, October 21, 1993
from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the National Science Foundation,
room 540, 1800 G Street, N.W., Washington, D.C.  This meeting is
open to the public.  The purpose of the FNCAC is to advise the 
Federal Networking Council on policy and programmatic matters related
to Federal networking for research and education.


The agenda, which is subject to change, will include the following:


        1- Overview of FNC Activities
        2- Briefing on the Information Infrastructure Task Force
        3- Relationship of the NII to the NREN Program
        4- Leveraging Federal Funding with Corporate and Local Government
           Funding to Provide K-12 Access to Networking
        5- Standardizing Export Control Regulations
        6- Follow-up to Past Meetings


Payable on the day of the meeting, a mimimum fee of $6.00 will be charged
to each attendee to cover expenses, including meeting materials and
refreshments.  For an additional $8.00, attendees may purchase
a buffet lunch, thus the total for lunch, morning refreshments, and
materials will be $14.00.


Please pay in CASH at the meeting when you check in.  NO CREDIT CARDS.
