well, it seems to have all settled down now. what happened was that a script that the MTA (Netscape Messaging Server 3.6/Solaris) called to check for the existence of a domain we host wasn't being called, allowing all hell to break loose on mail relaying (nothing got rejected). semi-random changes to the configuration file made it go :) a big thanks to all those that replied with helpful suggestions, they were all appreciated. --- Joel Michael System Administrator Diggy Internet Services 90 Petrie Terrace Brisbane Qld 4000 Australia Ph: +61 7 3367 3555 Fax: +61 7 3367 3544 Mob: 0401 039 462
