I have extensive use of the VMWare product. VMWare acts like any other computer. It has it's own MAC, can have it's own
IP, interacts with the host computer, etc... Any exploit that you run against a VMWare session is no different than
running it against a "real" computer. If you don't install a patch against a known exploit you can successfully run the
exploit against the virtual machine. The best part is that even if you crash the virtual computer; reload the session
without saving any changes and your back where you started. Ah, if only it were that easy on the host computer.

what do i need to know to succesfully exploit a virutal windows
2000, xp, linux, or free bsd based computer running on
vmware????
