http fake service

hi,
  I am doing a project on honeypot. I am writing a
production honeypot, giving fake services. I studied
many honeypots like honeyd, tiny honeypot, dtk, etc. 
Now I am planning to write a http fake service. 
  But I have a question in my mind. If we write ftp
fake service we are emulating many ftp commands. But
in http why don't we provide a fake website. That
means if he tries to connect just show him a fake
website. Would this be a way of faking the intruder.
What is actually expected in providing the fake http
service.
  Plz let me know your opinions abt it.
