WTF.... If Italy is going to pick on the scientists, then the politicians should be next. Anytime a politician lies, he/she goes to prison for false/misleading statements. That includes promises made on the campaign trail. Might as well include taking bribes (err, PAC contributions), too. A democracy is just too precious to allow it to be gamed while politicians grow their wealth.
