Hmmm.  1992, eh?  My remembrances of Wolfenstein (and I'm not a gamer, 
either) go back a bit further.  I've got an Apple ][ version.  (Circa 1981, I believe.) 
 I really have no idea how it is played, except that, when you get killed, it manages 
to buzz the speaker into a semi-reasonable facsimile of someone saying "You're 
dead."
