Where is TO? Tonga?  I was on a ship visit to there for the celebration
of their 200th anniversary of democracy in the late '70s...  (They
elect their king.)

We also almost lost our Electronics Maerial Officer (a warrant officer
responsible for running the electronics repair division) due to amoebic
dysentary.  (He lost almost 40 pounds during the ten days it took us to
get to French Tahiti where he was medevac'd out to the states.  He went
on an IV for the last four days of the trip.)  He rejoined the ship
some 3-4 months later - after the hospital released him.  And after he
put back on a few pounds.

We were all warned NOT to eat the chicken.  He was the only one...

They have a tree there that houses a TON of bats that fly at dusk...
Very interesting.  Also a very pretty country!
