There is an English language report about the state of the FRA law: "A controversial surveillance law comes into force at the start of next year. But the government has now announced that 15 amendments, designed to protect individuals privacy, will not be included until the Spring of 2009. The FRA law permits surveillance of wireless and cable communications across Sweden by the National Defence Radio Establishment. Critics fear that the laws power to freely snoop on people not suspected of any crime breaks the European Convention on Human Rights."
