There's a lot more at

"Rather than blame the notorious Russian Business Network -- as
researcher Jart Armin did over the weekend -- other researchers said
today that it appears that the attacks originated from a "hacker
militia" of Russian botnet herders and volunteers. "

Subject: [funsec] Dancho on Georgian Internet attacks

Here's an interesting blog by Dancho Danchev.
http://blogs.zdnet.com/security/?p=1670

While he gives some interesting information, he also jumps to
conclusions he really can't in every single paragraph.

When defending the Israeli government's Internet, these types of
attacks would be routine. While the possibility of state-sponsored
action can't be completely ruled out it is simply too premature to
tell and although the web sites and the impact on Georgian Internet
visibility are both clear, as Internet attacks go it is not yet out of
the ordinary.

Am I missing something?
